Geo and Hydro for all of my Healing and Buff Spells. I made Lohse my Summoner and equipped her with Support Skills. This allows for another Character to have Battering Ram for more Crowd Control.Īnother benefit to having a Summon is that it completely opens up your Summoner for whatever you’re lacking in. For your pure physical party, Summon a Blood Incarnate and give him the Power Infusion. I usually attach him with a Shock Infused weapon to try for Stuns. Incarnate has Attack of Opportunity, CC has Attack of Opportunity AND Flame Tongues. He attacks first, sets stuff on fire, and then I summon my Fire Incarnate (that is immune to Fire Damage) right in the midst of the flames. I particularly love my Lizard CC that’s a Pyro. Need more Magic Damage? Summon one from the various Elements. Need an extra Healer? Summon a Water Incarnate and they’ll have Restoration. The main benefit to Summons (for me) is the versatility of them. If you don't use Incarnate, you're basically just another class that summons stuff on the side, honestly. I do wish other forms of Summoning like totems and the other unique summons were more viable than just using the Incarnate, but that's really what a Summoner boils down to. I'm running a Hydro-based Summoner now, it's nice because I spend my spare turns summoning water totems, which apply Wet, and freezing people more easily. You can be a ranger, or you can be a mage, or you can cast support spells, for example. Your first turn is almost always gonna be summon incarnate, power infusion, farsight infusion.Īfter that your character just needs something else to do while the Incarnate does the real work. Once you get Summoning to 10 the Incarnate gets bigger and MUCH more powerful. Either focus physical damage by having blood surfaces out to summon on, or focus magic damage and take your pick of the elements out on the field.
